'Celebrity Big Brother' housemates will give Vinnie Jones a hand-painted canvas for his birthday today (05.01.10).

The contestants each set about making the soccer star-turned footballer a homemade gift to celebrate his 45th birthday after Big Brother gave them each a canvas, selection of paints and brushes.

'Thong Song' singer Sisqo suggested they all combine their canvases to create a giant message for the British star, placing them side by side to spell out "VINNIE 2010".

The 45-year-old star was being kept in the diary room by a very secretive Big Brother as the group got stuck in with their challenge.

Meanwhile, 'Usual Suspects' actor Stephen Baldwin told Vinnie his life should be turned into an action film, depicting his rise to fame.

The two men stayed up late chatting about their lives, and Vinnie explained how he used to wash pots and pans and suffered from a motorcycling accident before becoming a sportsman.

Stephen said: "It's a movie. Do you realise that?"

Vinnie admitted he had considered making the film before and wanted to name it 'The Last Chance', although Stephen wasn't so impressed. After much discussion, the pair eventually settled on 'Psycho' - Vinnie's nickname when he was a footballer.
