Charley Webb can't wait to have children.

The 'Emmerdale' actress - who plays young mum Debbie Dingle - is keen to become a mother but says she's putting her career first at present.

The 21-year-old star said: "I love babies. I've always been around them, so I think I've been broody since I was about 10 years old! I wouldn't plan to have one now because of my career, but definitely one day."

Charley - who is dating co-star Matthew Wolfenden (David Metcalfe) - also revealed she is looking forward to getting married and has already planned part of her big day.

She said: "Marriage isn't for everyone but it's something I definitely want to do one day. My sister is getting married soon and I can't wait. It's abroad and I'm a bridesmaid, so it's going to be gorgeous.

"When I get married I wouldn't want to do it in a church, though, as I'm not particularly religious, so I'd marry in a castle. I'd want quite a simple dress with a veil, maybe a vintage one, rather than a big meringue. It wouldn't suit me - I think I'd look a bit of a state!"
