Megastar actor Tom Cruise has confirmed his relationship with actress Katie Holmes. Tom Cruise, 42 , was spotted holding hands with Katie, 26, in Rome 4 weeks ago. After this photograph was taken, his spokesperson made this announcement; "Mr. Cruise would like to confirm that he and Miss.Homes are dating". Friends say that Tom made the first move by asking out Katie on a date, and they are now inseperable. Tom found fame as the geeky teenager in "Risky Business", since then he has starred in films such as; Jerry Maguire, Top Gun, Mission impossible and his new film "War of Worlds", directed by Steven Speilberg. Katie Holmes found fame in Dawson's creek, where she played "Joey". Since the show ended she has starred in; Phonebooth, Pieces of April and her new film Batman Begins. Tom adopted two children (Connor, Isabelle), when he was married to Nicole Kidman, they divorced in 2001. Then Tom dated Penelope Cruz for a year before splitting. He has been linked to a string of Beauties including, Sophie Viagra and Angelina Jolie. Katie was engaged to actor Chris Klein (Oz in American Pie) before he called off their engagement.
