8 Songs Parents Hate With Good Reason
Posted on 5th November 2009 06:42PM

As annoying as it might be, this is not the first generation of music that has been targeted by angry parents. Once upon a Time Elvis and the Beatles were considered the height of over-sexualized music, but today things have definitely stepped up a few notches. This blogger isn’t easily offended by any stretch, but like it or not, there are some songs that are so over the top, I almost want to side with parents on this one. Some songs parents hate….with good reason.

Nine Inch Nails

Animal by Nine Inch Nails

It’s it lovely that Nine Inch Nails wants to funk you like an animal? They want to feel you from the inside? The whole point of the song is to go on and on about having sex. And not just any sex – a borderline offensive kind of sex. It’s a shame they wasted such good music for such offensive lyrics.

Prodigy

Smack My Bitch Up by Prodigy

A personal favorite. This blogger loves nothing more than to hear a man brag about smacking his bitch up. Music plays, and you get to smack his bitch up again. It’s a shame that who women’s liberation thing occurred making this one truly demoralizing and offensive.

Jimmy Buffet

Why Don’t We Get Drunk and Screw by Jimmy Buffett

Not to be discriminatory, there are some country songs that make the grade, too. This carefree melody leads you right into a nice proposition – honey, why don’t we get drunk and screw? Sung by a man old enough to be a grandfather a few times over, it’s just icky.

Mickey Avalon
My Dick by Mickey Avalon

Sure boys compare their genitals in the locker room, but do we all need to be in the dick-bashing sessions? Of course, Mickey Avalon is probably trying to build up his self esteem and feels the need to let us all know of the wonderful properties of his dick. Fail.

Medic Droid

Fer Sure by Medic Droid

So, are you mad he made you snort a lot of his cum while he fucked you in the ass? What a great lead-in to a song about doing drugs in the front seat and fucking in the back. Way to show a girl a good time…

Say Anything

Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too by Say Anything

An entire song about masturbation. Wow. It just doesn’t get any better than that.

David Banner

Play by David Banner

A true sex classic. David Banner spends an entire song telling his “girls” to cum, play with it, get it wet, stick a dick in it and just about any other freaky sex act he can think of. I’m not entirely sure this qualifies as music – seems more like pornographic prose.
