Rapper 50 Cent is going after Oprah Winfrey according to a reason interview in the Associated Press. 50 complained that Winfrey rarely invites rappers on her talk show and he states that Oprah “caters to older white women.” 50 continues on by saying that Oprah’s audience is his audience’s parents and he could careless about Oprah and her show. Alright so right off the bat, if he doesn’t care about Oprah why is he complaining about her in this interview? But it turns out that he is not alone because recently Ludacris said in the May issue of GQ magazine that Winfrey was “unfair” during an episode which he appeared on last year. “ She edited out a lot of my comments while keeping her own in” states Ludacris, “Of course, it’s her show, but we were doing a show on racial discrimination, and she gave me a hard time as a rapper, when I came on there as an actor.” Winfrey’s spokesperson of her production company, Harpo, told the Associated Press that Oprah was unavailable to comment. 50 cent says that his dislike for Oprah may in fact enhance his street credibility and states he is actually better off having friction with her. 50 Cent was once a crack dealer who turned into a million dollar super star by flaunting his gangsta image, explicit lyrics and bulletproof vest. 50 Cent has reportedly been shot nine times. He has his own record label, his own clothing and sneaker line, and his very own videogame. And he is proud of what he stands for and doesn’t mind that some look at him in a negative light.
