Ray Winstone's new movie '44 Inch Chest' is for women as well as men.
The British actor, who plays the role of a London gangster who suspects his wife of having an affair, suggested that the film is essentially about love.
He said: "I do think it's a film for women as well, because you're seeing a man go through the pain for what love means to him.
"And also, you see what it means for a woman who's not in love with a man who's basically smothered her. He's smothered her with love, you know?
"And when she's honest about that, and wants to get away, you see how tough it is for her to deal with it."
The 52-year-old also revealed that he is excited about an upcoming musical where he plays Julius Caesar.
He told Digital Spy: "Me with the Tony Curtis haircut, giving it large? It'll be great. No, it'll be fabulous! I look good in a skirt too.
"We were supposed to do it last year but director Steven Soderbergh had something else to do, which he's done now, but I haven't heard anything more about it. It would be great to do it this year, but if it happens, it happens and if it doesn't, it doesn't."
