Amanda Seyfried finds kissing strangers in films "weird".

The 'Mamma Mia!' star admitted she enjoyed locking lips with Channing Tatum in new movie 'Dear John' but still finds the experience strange.

She said: "My 13-year-old self would be screaming right now if she saw me kissing Channing. When I was a teenager, I was dreaming about Justin Timberlake or Leonardo DiCaprio, who Channing has replaced as one of the sexiest men in movies.

"I'm sure a lot of girls are probably really jealous of me. It's crazy. Being an actor is weird sometimes because you get used to making out with all these different people."

Despite the romantic nature of her new film, Amanda - who is currently dating her 'Mamma Mia!' co-star Dominic Cooper - revealed she has not had her heart broken before.

She told parade.com: "In the movie, I'm the one who ends things with a 'Dear John' letter. It's a terrible way to put it, but I prefer breaking someone's heart.

"I almost got my heart broken. Just to be almost there was pretty bad."
