Thread: Swine flu!

Two people in my school have swine flu! I refuse to touch ANYTHING at school now unless i have immediate access to a hand washing facility. urghhhh. And while im on the subject of touching things....don't you just hate it when your in the toilets and you stand there and wash your hands and you can see all the people going out without washing theirs then you have to touch the door after them and you end up getting all the bacteria you just washed of back again? am i making any sense or am i just being a clean freak? hahahaha.

Unfortunate business is that swine flu, someone in my village had it also but thanfully they seem to have gotten over it. That was when it first got here, I do believe they were one of the first cases in the UK. Lets just hope Swine Flu doesn't claim any more lives.

oh and i do everything in public toilets using mainly my elbows/forearms for that exact reason

Its not me im worried about. I don't want to get it or something and pass it onto my grandparents before i even realise I've got it. They are already frail enough as it is :s

oh ok that makes sense, still there's nothing you can do and the chances of you getting it are quite low.

yeah me too. some girl at my work called in sick with the swine flu after like 2 people were diagnosed with it in america. it was a good laugh haha

They need 4 confirmed cases to close cause it has so many pupils.

The private school 100 yards down the road from ours was closed today, 2 confirmed cases but its a very small school. We only found out this afternoon that one of the cases had been in contact with one of my close friends several times over the past week, and they are being tested now I believe. Our school has said that it is looking at the possibility of closing down.

I still think the disease is over-hyped, but something should be done to stop it spreading.

I think I have that like right now! But I always over exagerate when I'm ill.

I seriously think my friend has this but she refuses to take time off school. its annoying me cause shes going to spread it and she doesn't care!
