Thread: Evening=Ruined

BEWARE:this is longish


My mom booked tickets to go and see the Dancing on Ice tour at the NIA weeks ago and we get there and everything is great we find our seats (fourth row back) and start to watch. realise i left my phone in the car so i couldn't take pictures. the spotlights keep flashing on people in the audience and when it flashed on the people around me it set my head off and i got a slight headache. the host person then held this stupid competition and loads of people around me screamed and yelled and my head got worse (i didn't say anything so i didn't upset my mom or sister who i was with). the first half goes great all the dancing was good etc and the interval arrived. we stood in a huge long queue for the toilet and went back in.

The second half just began and they had a spotlight with a mic so everyone is yelling and my head feels like it is going to explode. Suddenly i see double everthing and say i need to go out to my mom so me my mom and sister stand up. i had to go past an old woman to get back up the steps and out.

Me: Excuse me (shaking uncontrollably)
Woman: What?
Me: Excuse me
Woman: What? You want to get out again
My mom: Sorry but she feels faint she needs to go now
woman: Can't it wait?
My mom: No excuse me please
Woman: sighs and stands up in the middle of the row (not particularly easy to get around a skinny person when *** are dizzy let alone a whale)

anyway i get upstairs sit down and feel okay again. we were still, however told to stand with the disabled people incase i needed to go out. so i sat on the floor with my sister on me and my mom stood up. it finishes and we all pour out when my mom gets a cal from my dad. a lady had found my phone and was dropping it off later. i hadn't left it in the car afterall.

I can't help but feel that i ruined the evening completely for myself my mom and my sister oh and the stupid old womans husband she is the sort tha will moan for weeks to him she moaned before i even got out of earshot.

awh I read this when I was BANNED because of the cookies thing. Only I couldnt reply. I feel bad for you. That woman was a BITCH.

I would of pretended to nearly be sick on her shoes hahahaha see what she'd have to say then eh? or id lie and say i was pregnant and needed to get through... always works.

Lolz i should have just stood on her it would have served her right. I feel sorry for her husband though cause he was so nice about moving and asked me if i wanted water and stuff and then there is her the moody cow. how can he live with it :s

Poor you Jess!! At least you enjoyed the first half. You should have fallen on the lady dramatically, thats what i would have done. So that it made a scene hehe.

Aww that sucks. I hate it when you feel you've ruined it for everyone else.

Awh bless ya. I'm sure you're mum and sister didn't blame your or anything. Feeling ill can't be helped! And if you're prone to headaches and stuff then you shouldn't really go anywhere that might trigger them. Your mum and sister are probably just grateful that you went even though you risked feeling shit :-)
