There are a lot of reasons going about as to why frog has been suspended.

Therefore I thought I'd clear it up.

1. concerns were raised over his identity (and have been a lot in the past)
2. dee msged frog and explained the problem. he then requested that frog show some kind of pic
3. frog explained that his computer was old etc and he had no cam or scanner and its impossible much as he'd like to
4. dee offered to fund the purchase of a camera and postage/photo developing etc so frog could take a pic holding that sign
5. frog changed his tack and said that he doesnt want to give anybody a pic etc because the boards and his private life are separate
6. dee explained the letter would be posted to him and nobody else would see it
7. frog said that he wasnt willing to do this as it would go against his principles of secrecy etc
8. I said that it wouldnt harm him and he would still be able to keep his identity confidential but we would have proof he was roughly who he said he was and not a threat to members
9. frog said he was unwilling to comply
10. dee has ordered him suspended till he can talk to him again
11. he will remain suspended/banned until something in the way of who he is can be verified

12. The directors note frog has now dissappeared from view
13. The directors note that frog was overly concerned with his suspension and that frogs friends group on the boards mainly consisted of 14-16 year old girls.


I'd rather not show the actual log so I've posted minutes of the encounter.

Suffice it to say he is trying very hard to make himself unidentifiable and unverifiable..... and yes viking if there were concerns etc raised and you went to the level of secrecy that frog does to hide who you are...then you'd be banned by meeeeeeee :p

Its a big deal because its a significant risk that he is not who he says he is.

That is, the probability of him not being who he says is higher than the probability that he is.

Therefore, under the premise that he is lying about age and refuses to cooperate with the directors of the company... the company would be foolish to allow him to remain here and suffer the possible implications.

If the press found out ts would be dead..... me and dee would be in court as negligent directors.... etc etc

Its a deal because i finally brought it up with dee... my own opinion was "hes not who he says but he doesnt seem a threat so i really dont give a shit"

However after REFUSING TO GIVE A PICTURE WHEN WE OFFERED TO FACILITATE IT AND EXPLAINED THE REASONS is a significant change. He is trying to hide his identity. And is therefore too much of a risk for ts.

If there are significant concerns about an individual, then yes, we will request some sort of ID.

Frog is/was a nice person but if their is uncertainty regarding the validity of his age and therefore a possible danger to other members this is the best decision. Thank you for making us ALL aware of the situation.

Basically the difference is he is *actively* trying to make himself unknown. He refuses to verify himself despite us offering to carry the cost.

Plus if an active request of this sort was made to make other members comfortable over your identity i suspect you'd have no problem

He will be able to return once we are satisfied he is roughly who he says he is.

Even if he is in his mid twenties or something he'd be allowed back as long as we actually KNOW who he is and can verify that information.

Whether a picture or a passport or an address that we can verify properly I don't mind.

We just need something that can be used to confirm that he is capable of some sort of honesty and that we actually know who the hell he is.

He's dissappeared off the face of the planet as of now..... so i dont know. Thats another thing...if an incident happened and he dissappeared theres absolutely no way to track him.
