Default when people are rude for no reason
so i went to the mall today to get christmas presents, and i wasn't sure what to get my sister so i texted her at 4pm saying
"do you like hollister?!"

she replied 4 hours later saying "Sort of. Is this avery?" COOL MY OWN SISTER DOESNT EVEN HAVE MY NUMBER. anyways.

i replied "yes haha. BUT IT'S TOO LATE I GOT YOU SOMETHING BETTER CAUSE HOLLISTER IS GAY"

and then she was like "Why did you even ask then? I don't want something gay."

and i actually wanted to be like well with that attitude you won't be getting anything at all. like wtf i try to be nice and get her something and she shits on me. so i was just like you replied 4 hours later i wasnt in the mall haha. and she was just like "yeah no phones at work. thats cool"

people are at different chapters in their own lives, even though your sister is reacting to you this way, you should not show her that you are mad. Severing family relationships is one of the worst things you can do in a lifetime. Let it go. If your sister needs space to be an individual, let her. she will eventually come back around.

I hope this helped, I have had issues similar to yours in my experience and I have discovered this is the best action to take.
