I have had this like 3 times in the last 2 months.....has anybody else had this this many times? or have i got problems? :s and Its not even like its three mild cases :s I wont go into disgusting detail but its not nice in my throat right now

I had it about 4 times in 6 months or something, if i got it again they'd take out my tonsils. So if you go to the doctor he might be trying to get you to get them taken out

I had it that many times too Jess, I think it just takes a loong time for all of the virus to go so it just keeps reappearing easily. Eventually mine disappeared but it took for-bloody-ever.

I have no tonsils

I had it like every 2 weeks when I was younger

I rarely get a throat infection now, less than once a year



Hurt getting them out though, ha

UGH i could never have them out :s The thought of anesthetic terrifies me :s I think i read too many stories about things going wrong.

i have only had it once touch wood and it is painful
if you keep on getting it i think they take them out

Anaesthetic is fine, other than making me terribly sick for about 15 hours

They've stopped taking tonsils out apparently, they found it doesn't really do much difference.

I heard they only take them out if you have chronic tonsillitis, so im safe on antibiotics while they still work :s
