No. The worldwide spread of any kind of flu is unstoppable, and, what's more, nobody tries to stop it. The majority of people who have died from it have been already vulnerable in that they were either old, young, or had other health issues. The same as for normal flu. It's really not a big deal, I wish they'd shut up about it.

There was a big sign in the surgery I went yesterday that said 'If you think you may have swine flu, do not come here or A & E unless you are advised to, you may pass the illness to others'

People die from regular flu every year, everyones just freaking out because its new and been so publisised. If theyre that worried they should distribute more of that tamiflu stuff, instead of just telling people to wash their hands and throw their tissues in the bin.
Tamiflu doesn't work that well anyway. Its only been proven to take 1 day off the illness and it has more side effects that the actual illness anyway including sickness and diarrhea(sp?) I personally would rather have the sniffles and a headache for one extra day.
