What have you read by Margaret Atwood? I really liked the Handmaid's Tale, but hated Cats Eye and Blind Assassin.

I also really dislike Dan Brown, possibly to the point of being obsessive over my hatred for him. I also really don't get Graham Greene at all, and purely because Heart of Darkness was the most impossible book to read, Joseph Conrad.

By the way, are the 'least favorite authors' the ones you dislike or the one you like the least among your favorite...?

If it means the former, I don't have a particular disliked author. I just hate some because of their writing style not professional enough or because of the topics they follow.
