Photoshop - Photos
Today I had Publishing at college, and we've started to learn more about photoshop (We did some basic stuff last year, but I'm talking VERY basic stuff).
This is the orginal image.
And this is it now.
Changed the colour of his hair, face, coat and tie, and got rid of the scratches.

Nice work. Were you using the clone stamp tool and layer blend modes?

Thanks  and used the spot healing stamp for the scratches on the background, and as many as I could on the person/coat, but the scratches that where they cross over the person/background I used the clone stamp.
I was really looking forward to publishing lessons at college, and now I look forward to them even more :D

As far as free versions go, it's fantastic. However, I stopped using it when I got Photoshop CS3, which I too revel in.

I like CS4.
We have to use GIMP at college for digital graphics. Too expensive to install Photoshop on all the computers.

CS4 is all broken and I'll wait until it matures through patches. I like the 64-bit and gfx acceleration though.

I haven't used it much. Worked for me with what I was doing with it though.

No, I actually don't think it is but maybe I just like the CS3 layout :\
I think Adomedia should take their time instead of flying out with crap each year. Like Quark did with their recent upgrade to Xpress8. Worked well and much smoother to use.

That's ok, everyone has their preferences.
True, there is always a new version. Wasn't long ago since I obtained CS3. Wish it didn't install Bridge with it either.
