A dude I know asked me to make a fake rock mag cover for him last night after he bet his mate that he was better at Photoshop than he was. Despite never using it, ahaha.

Anyway, I did it out of the kindess of my heart and found it quite fun, so I tweaked it a bit more just now and yeah. I tried to make it look like a proper magazine cover, so I'm not sure if I suceeded?

Ben I tried it with a rectangle and a square but it looked out of place, because there was no background to the logo text (which is very simple I realise, but I didn't want to go the trouble of creating a logo cos that takes ages) it made the logo seem tacked on and out of place too.
I do agree it's the dodgiest part.

Make the poster feature into like a triangular piece in the corner and have the text slope with the edge facing the bulk of the cover.
