Police in the US had to be called when a man became enraged at a restaurant due to the lack of sprinkle-covered doughnuts.

An employee at the Tim Horton's establishment in Dayton called the authorities when the man - who was using the drive-thru facilities of the restaurant - stopped his car and grabbed the headset of the server, throwing it across the room.

Police initially had trouble tracking the man, but he was later found.

He now faces charges of assault and menacing.
